It was just a commendable fit for an overnight stopping in Rome with good price-value balance. The location can't be beat, walking distance to major attractions like the Vatican and Castel St Angelo. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing ear plugs as the street noise can be quite disruptive at night.

The hotel had a central position just next door to the bus stop, a nice area of Rome and Vatican and the historic center. I had coffee at Caffe' Rovere, located within 15 minutes walk...
Didn't like the area, it was really noisy.

small room. There wasn't enough fridge, no shampoo in the bathroom.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the Vatican. Also nearby is the Castle of the Holy Angel. It's modest, clean enough, no breakfast. But there are great cafes nearby where you can have breakfast. In general, it fits 3 stars.
Air conditioning for an extra fee.

The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the Vatican. Rooms are clean, with solid walls that provide decent sound insulation, so you won't be disturbed by neighboring guests.
Unfortunately, there are significant shortcomings. The air conditioning costs an extra 10 EUR per day, which feels like a bit of a scam considering the heat outside. The noise from ambulances and cars can interrupt your sleep, especially with the narrow streets. The washroom wasn't properly cleaned upon arrival, leaving a lingering unpleasant odor that I didn't expect . While it has potential, the place is starting to show its age with outdated furniture and amenities that don't meet modern standards.

Staying so close to the Vatican was a dream come true for our family. We loved exploring local eateries and grabbing snacks from nearby shops. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing tips to navigate the city.
My kids wished for more variety in breakfast options.
